A class assignment to design official graduation tickets for the Mira Mesa High School Class of 2023, with one student's design chosen to be printed.
This was a class assignment in my Honors Graphic Design course during senior year. Each of the 24 students in the class created their own individual ticket design for the Mira Mesa High School Class of 2023 graduation, and one design would be selected by administration to be the official printed ticket. Knowing that a real outcome was on the line made it feel like more than just homework.

The requirements included a ticket number, date, time, location, and side designation (home or visitors). Administration also requested a perforation line so tickets could be separated and tracked during the ceremony. Fitting all of those details into a clean, polished layout was a genuinely fun design challenge.
It was one of the most exciting assignments I worked on that year. Getting to see 24 completely different takes on the same brief, and knowing one would actually be handed out at graduation, made it a memorable project to be part of.
